Roger Morrison's Clinically Verified Materia Medica vol 1 is out now
Dr. Morrison attended medical school in his home state of Tennessee, graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1978. In his early career he worked as an emergency room physician. In 1978 while still in medical training, Dr. Morrison attended his first seminar on homeopathy in Athens, Greece. Struck by the amazing results he observed in Athens, Dr. Morrison determined to return to study at the Athenian Center for Homeopathic Medicine. He spent four years learning to speak Greek then returned to Athens and completed a two-year fellowship in Homeopathic medicine, eventually earning the prestigious diploma of the Athenian Center in 1984.
Upon completion of his fellowship in Greece, Dr. Morrison moved to California to assist in establishing the Hahnemann Medical Clinic and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy. He has been one of the foremost educators and leaders of homeopathy ever since, lecturing extensively in the USA and abroad. Having published over 20 articles in most of the leading homeopathic journals in the world, Dr. Morrison began the task of writing textbooks for homeopathic practitioners. His first book, Desktop Guide was completed in 1993 followed by Desktop Companion in 1999. His most recent work, Carbon: Hydrocarbon and Organic Chemicals in Homeopathy was completed in 2006.
Looking back, my life has always been about having a vision and taking action. My focus has been on
helping people live healthier, happier lives, and I've found deep fulfillment in learning how to make that
happen.
Looking forward, I'm committed to bringing the lessons I've learned over 45 years in natural medicine and
healing to even more people. My latest work explores the remarkable power of the psychedelic medicine
Ketamine, derived from the mushroom Poconia Chamydosporia. Using homeopathy as my guide, I’ve
developed a unique low-dose approach with Ketamine lozenges—safe, effective, and affordable. It’s an
exciting and humbling journey.
My story started after earning a Master’s in Psychology and Child Development from Wayne State
University in Detroit. I attended my first homeopathy lecture and immediately knew I’d found my calling.
Back then, homeopathy was virtually unknown in the U.S., with little support or training available. So, I
helped establish The Bay Area Women's Health Collective, the Bay Area Homeopathic Study Group, and
the Hering Family Health Clinic.
To deepen my knowledge, I pursued formal medical training at UC Davis, earning my Physician Assistant
license. As homeopathy gained recognition, I dedicated myself to documenting my experiences and
sharing knowledge with other practitioners. I co-founded the Hahnemann Medical Clinic and the
Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, where my husband, Dr. Roger Morrison, and I have lectured
worldwide since the 1980s. The college trained many successful homeopathic practitioners over its 20
years.
In 1994, I had the privilege of studying in Mumbai with world-renowned homeopath Dr. Rajan Sankaran,
an experience that continues to shape my work today. In 2016, I became the first recipient of an honorary
doctorate in homeopathy from the American Medical College of Homeopathy.
I've authored two books—Animal Minds, Human Voices and Sacred Plants, Human Voices—highlighting
my research and development of 18 new and highly effective homeopathic remedies, now used
worldwide. Roger and I also co-wrote Miasms of the New Millennium, detailing the 10 Miasms used to
select the best homeopathic remedies for patients.
Through thousands of cases, I've seen firsthand how transformational homeopathy and alternative
treatments can be. My practice blends 45 years of patient care with the latest research in nutrition,
alternative medicine, and now, my work with Ketamine.
We are at a tipping point in how we approach health and healing. Psychedelic medicine is proving to be
profoundly effective for emotional well-being (PTSD, anxiety, depression), physical health (pain, insomnia,
digestion), and cognitive function (brain and memory issues). Many indigenous cultures used mushrooms
and psychedelics to connect with their true nature and experience joy. My approach to Ketamine is
unique—I trained at Sage Institute for guided "Journeys," but I’ve since innovated a low-dose method
using oral troches. This provides a gentler, more affordable experience with outstanding results.
Sharing my knowledge of psychedelic and alternative healing is my passion. I also find joy in Spirit,
movement, beauty, and tranquility—whether through Sufi dancing, traveling, or soaking in the wonders of
nature. Above all, I treasure the love and laughter of my three adorable grandsons.
Blessings be,
