Roger Morrison, MD

Dr. Morrison attended medical school in his home state of Tennessee, graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1978. In his early career he worked as an emergency room physician. In 1978 while still in medical training, Dr. Morrison attended his first seminar on homeopathy in Athens, Greece. Struck by the amazing results he observed in Athens, Dr. Morrison determined to return to study at the Athenian Center for Homeopathic Medicine. He spent four years learning to speak Greek then returned to Athens and completed a two-year fellowship in Homeopathic medicine, eventually earning the prestigious diploma of the Athenian Center in 1984.

Upon completion of his fellowship in Greece, Dr. Morrison moved to California to assist in establishing the Hahnemann Medical Clinic and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy. He has been one of the foremost educators and leaders of homeopathy ever since, lecturing extensively in the USA and abroad. Having published over 20 articles in most of the leading homeopathic journals in the world, Dr. Morrison began the task of writing textbooks for homeopathic practitioners. His first book, Desktop Guide was completed in 1993 followed by Desktop Companion in 1999. His most recent work, Carbon: Hydrocarbon and Organic Chemicals in Homeopathy was completed in 2006.

Dr. Herrick attended her first lecture on homeopathy in 1972 just weeks after receiving her Masters degree in psychology and child development. It was then she realized that homeopathy was her true life’s calling. It was an exhilarating feeling to find this but disconcerting to realize that she had to immediately embark on a whole new intensive course of study. Never one for half way measures she sought out the best homeopathic education available but discovered that homeopathy, at that time, was a dying art and much of it she had to create for herself.

Dr. Herrick became one of the members of the now historic “Bay Area Homeopathic Study Group.” She began her first job in health care at the, also historic, “Bay Area Woman’s Health Collective.” At the “Hering Family Health Clinic” in 1974 Dr. Herrick began her career as a homeopath. In 1980 she attended UC Davis and received her Physician Assistant degree/license. In 1985 she was on the founding committee behind the simultaneous creation of the now famous “Hahnemann Medical Clinic” and “The Hahnemann College of Homeopathy.” Nancy Herrick was honored for her professional excellence and her contributions to the field of homeopathy in clinical practice, education and publications by receiving a doctorate in homeopathy in 2011 by the American College of Homeopathy of Phoenix, Arizona. She is the first person in the United States to receive this degree.

Nancy Herrick is a widely respected homeopath and homeopathic educator. She began her extensive career as a teacher and lecturer in 1983 with the International Foundation for Homeopathy. She pioneered the use of video to teach homeopaths. Since that time she has lectured throughout Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and India. The Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, where she was one of the main teachers, was the leading USA school training homeopaths for over 20 years.

She has published widely both in the United States and abroad and has been extensively involved in research and development of new homeopathic medicines including: Carbon dioxide, Lac Delphinum (Milk of the Dolphin), Lac Leoninum (milk of the lion), Lac Loxodonta (Milk of the Elephant), Lac Equinum (milk of the mare), Lac Lupinum (milk of the wolf), Limenitis Bredavi (California Sister butterfly), Maisaura Lapidea (dinosaur bone), Sanguis Soricis (Blood of the rat), Mandragora, Lotus, Ginseng, Rosa Gallica, Rosa St. Francis, Ayahuasca and Anhelonium, and with her students most recently: Lac Puma (Milk of the Mountain Lion), and Ursus Horribilus (Blood of the Grizzly bear). She has published eight of these studies in her book: Animal Minds, Human Voices and seven of the plant studies in Sacred Plants, Human Voices. It has been reported in the literature that these medicines have benefitted patients throughout the world.

In 1993 Dr. Herrick had an intensive sabbatical in Bombay, India at the center of renowned homeopath Dr. Rajan Sankaran. She brought revolutionary ideas from this clinic to the attention of European and American homeopaths. She continues her studies with Dr. Sankaran to this day with the most deep respect for his mastery.

Since 2002 Nancy Herrick has developed a passion for the study of nutrition using the research of Dr. Weston Price and the Nourishing Traditions schools of thought. She has added this to her work and is excited at the added success her patients are finding in their search for health and balance.

Dr. Herrick uses a unique blend of intuition, experience and intellect in her work. Her busy practice centers on the treatment of chronic disease and emotional disorders in both adults and children. Dr. Herrick seeks to look into the core of her patients state and find the one substance on the planet that matches them on the mental, emotional and physical level. She is one of the most influential and expert homeopaths in the world.
